Hello

I’m Katey Hyde (she/they), a licensed mental health counseling associate in the state of Washington. I provide individual therapy to adults 18+ via tele-health in WA state.

I graduated with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I was trained in a trauma-informed relational psychodynamic approach.

I completed my school clinical hours at a group practice supporting primarily LGBTQIA+ identifying folx with religious trauma, identity development, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. Prior to Grad School, I spent time mentoring and facilitating community spaces on my college campus and through various summer camps.

I am committed to growth and learning. In addition to completing yearly continued education units, I am an active participant in consultation groups and supervision as a way to grow my clinical mind in order to better support my clients.

I am an affiliate member of Shelterwood Collective, as well as a member of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and the Center for Object Relations.

When I’m not in the office…

I enjoy neighborhood walks, tending to the garden, diving into a creative project and being captivated by a good story.
